Ten killed in attack on Philippine mayor
 Gunmen opened fire on a local mayor and his supporters while they were campaigning in the southern Philippines, killing 10 people and injuring nine others.The ambush late Thursday targeted a truck carrying Mayor Abdul Malik Manamparan and dozens of supporters. It left the mayor wounded, and killed his daughter. Officials have no suspects or motive in the attack, and an investigation is underway. The attack in Nunungan town is the latest in a series of violenct attacks before the local and legislative elections on May 13.
