Two militants killed in Dagestan
 The Russian National Counterterrorism Committee (NAK) says a security operation in the North Caucasus republic of Dagestan has resulted in the deaths of two members of a local militant group. The NAK said on April 24 that security forces recieved a tip that two The security forces blocked access to the building the armed men were in and demanded their surrender. The two men fired indiscriminately and were killed when security forces returned fire.
