Two injured in Bannu checkpost attack
PESHAWAR: Militants attacked a security checkpost in Bannus Janikhel area on Sunday, injuring two security personnel deputed at the checkpost, whereas security forces defused a bomb in Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A security checkpost came under attack by militants in the Janikhel tehsil of Bannu district near Peshawar in the early hours of Sunday. Police and security backup forces reached the site of the attack and cordoned off the area after the attack.
