Seven arrested over Bahrain kaboom
MANAMA Bahrain police on Wednesday night arrested seven suspects in connection with a blast. Seven policemen were injured in the explosion, including an officer, whose condition was critical.The announcement of arrest was made by the Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan through the Interior Ministrys twitter account few hours after the blast that occurred in Bani Jamra one of Bahrains disturbed villages. The spokesperson of the Northern Governorate police district said in a statement that the blast targeted policemen and all the injured were rushed to a hospital. He said investigators immediately reached the scene to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice. The bomb was a homemade device believed to have been planted by terrorists.
