Marine gunned down in southern Thailand
A marine was killed in a shooting in Pattani province late Sunday afternoon. Witnesses said the marine was sitting at a sight-seeing spot near the sea when a gunman approached and shot him with a handgun at close range. The attacker then fled. The victim died on the spot.Police blamed separatist
