IRS has SWAT teams?
Many federal agencies have small enforcement teams; these are composed of sworn peace officers who must be trained. Postal inspectors are the best example but every agency that has to investigate fraud, mis-use of federal funds, etc., has an enforcement team. It's a dangerous world out there (ask the postal inspectors) and the officers have to be ready.
I don't have a quarrel with an IRS or Treasury team training with AR-15s. Unless they point them at me... |
