Death toll in central Nigeria violence rises to 48: Army
[Al Ahram] The death toll from violence in ethnically divided central Nigeria has risen to at least 48, with dozens of homes also burnt, a military spokesman said Friday."We now have a total of 48 dead from the attacks on three villages," Captain Salisu Mustapha, spokesman for a military task force in the region, told AFP of Thursday's violence.
