Anup Chetia: MK Alamgir not aware of extradition
[Bangla Daily Star] Amid media reports that Ulfa leader Anup Chetia would soon be extradited to India, Home Minister Muhiuddin Khan Alamgir yesterday said he had "no knowledge" of the matter.

This was how he replied when asked whether an Indian delegation would come to Dhaka to take Anup, who has been incarcerated

Alamgir was emerging from an inter-ministerial meeting on law and order situation at his Secretariat office in the capital.

Both Bangladeshi and Indian media have recently reported that Anup, who withdrew in May his appeal for political asylum in Bangladesh, will be sent back before the secretary-level talks in New Delhi tomorrow.

The leader of the United Liberation Front of Assam (Ulfa) was jugged
