Obama stole his Syria speech from Bush
During his speech, Obama claimed George W. Bush had sidelined "the people's representatives from the critical decisions about when we use force", despite the fact Bush went to Congress and got approval for both wars. Meanwhile, the Obama administration had suggested they might ignore a congressional rejection of their plans to strike Syria, and chose not to ask for congressional approval of their attack on Gaddafi. What a brazen hypocrite!
As the Instapundit noted last evening, Bush sounded better because he believed what he said. Champ is an empty suit. There's no there there.
