US drone kills three in Pakistan
[Dawn] A US drone strike killed three Death Eaters on Sunday in a restive Pak tribal region near the Afghan border, officials said.The strike took place in the Dargamandi area, seven kilometres (four miles) north of Miranshah ... headquarters of al-Qaeda in Pakistain and likely location of Ayman al-Zawahiri. The Haqqani network has established a ministatein centered on the town with courts, tax offices and lots of madrassas... which is the main town in the North  Wazoo tribal region.The area is a bastion of Death Eaters linked to the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. "A US drone fired two missiles on a krazed killer compound, killing three rebels," a security bigshot told AFP on condition of anonymity. Another local official confirmed the attack and casualties. However, death is not the end. There remains the litigation over the estate... an intelligence official in Miranshah put the toll at four.
