Egypt police fire teargas at Alexandria pro-Morsi protesters
[Al Ahram] Egyptian police fired teargas at protesters supporting deposed president Mohammed Morsi...the former president of Egypt. A proponent of the One Man, One Vote, One Timeprinciple, Morsi won election after the deposal of Hosni Mubarak and jumped to the conclusion it was his turn to be dictator... who gathered east of the Mediterranean city of Alexandria on Monday afternoon, according to Ahram's Arabic news website. The Moslem Brüderbund, from which Morsi hails, has urged its followers to gather on Monday to break their fast together on the eve of the Mohammedan feast of Eid Al-Adha. Earlier in the day, supporters attempted to block the seafront road near the iconic Stanley Bridge in Alexandria, before clashing with security forces.
