Miqati Meets Tripoli MPs: Army Will Continue its Mission to Restore Calm in City
[An Nahar] Caretaker Prime Minister  Najib Miqati stressed on Friday that officials are determined to tackle the situation in the northern city of Tripoli...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... "wisely and calmly." He said after meeting a delegation of Tripoli MPs: "The army and security forces will continue their mission to halt the unrest, restore calm, and protect its residents." "We are responsible for all our sons and brothers, but this should not take place at the expense of the authority of the state," he declared. "No one can consider themselves more powerful than that state," he added.
