Science Fiction and Surveillance: Zamyatin's We (BBC RADIO SHOW)
Yevgeny Zamyatin's experiences in the Tyne shipyards fed into his dystopian fable "We", which was published in 1919. It depicts a city of glass where citizens are spied upon.
