Iraq attacks kill seven
[Pak Daily Times] A series of attacks in Storied Baghdad...located along the Tigris River, founded in the 8th century, home of the Abbasid Caliphate... and central Iraq killed seven people on Friday, the latest in a months-long surge in bloodshed that comes in the lead-up to major Shia commemorations. In the deadliest incident, two roadside kabooms went off as worshippers were exiting midday prayers at the Imam Ali mosque, a Sunni place of worship, in the west Storied Baghdad neighbourhood of Amriyah. At least four people were killed and 11 maimed, security and medical officials said.
