And then there's Amherst...
Speaking of no shame, there's the Amherst board of selectmen - excuse me, the Selectboard, as they say in the People's Republic. The night before the sneak attack, they restricted the waving of Old Glory on Main Street utility poles to six days a year. The vote was 4-1.
