Defense volunteer gunned down in southern Thailand
[Bangkok Post] A territorial defense volunteer was killed in a drive-by shooting in Narathiwat province early on Wednesday morning. The shooting occurred about 12:30 a.m. on a rural road in Sungai Kolok district. Witnesses said the victim was traveling on his motorcycle when a gunman riding pillion on another motorcycle fired twelve shots at him with an assault rifle. The attackers then fled.
