Local official kidnapped
The head of the Buti village authorities in Chechnyaâs Shatoi district, Lechi Isaldebirov, has been kidnapped by unidentified armed individuals. The same people kidnapped two policemen in the Sharoi district and seized their weapons, Chechen Security Council chief Rudnik Dudayev told Interfax on Wednesday. The two policemen are brothers of head of the Sharoi district administration Raso Musalov, to whom they were attached as bodyguards.
