Three security officials killed in Mohmand attack
 [Pak Daily Times] At least three security officials were killed and two injured in a terrorist attack on a security checkpost in Mohmand Agency... Named for the Mohmand clan of the Sarban Pahstuns, a truculent, quarrelsome lot. In Pakistain, the Mohmands infest their eponymous Agency, metastasizing as far as the plains of Peshawar, Charsadda, and Mardan. Mohmands are also scattered throughout Pakistan in urban areas including Karachi, Lahore, and Quetta. In Afghanistan they are mainly found in Nangarhar and Kunar... on Saturday evening. According to sources, unidentified armed attackers opened fire on the checkpost in Baizai area of Mohmand Agency near Afghan border, leaving three security men dead and two others injured.
