Mideast Tensions Alarm U.N. Chief

Mr. Ban criticized an "escalation of violence and incitement" on both sides, including Israeli settlement building, the demolition of Paleostinian structures in eastern Jerusalem, and rocket fire and tunneling by Gazoo gunnies into Israel. He said acute financial difficulties at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, which administers aid to millions of Paleostinians in Gazoo, also had aggravated the situation.
