At least one dead in Kufra communal clashes
[Libya Herald] A Sudanese man was reportedly rubbed out in Kufra today after troops tried to separate Zway and Tebu youths.The circumstances are unclear but a Tebu source told the Libya Herald that after a verbal confrontation between groups of Zway and Tebu had turned ugly, troops from the 17th February Martyrs Revolutionary Brigade had to force rivals apart. However, some men learn by reading. A few learn by observation. The rest have to pee on the electric fence for themselves... it is alleged that a Zway youth returned with a Kalashnikov and in Market Street, the town's principal thoroughfare, opened up at random on the Tebus, injuring two and fatally wounding a Sudanese, who died on his way hospital. Social media later that a 59 year-old Zway was shot and killed in Market Street by a Tebu gang but other posts claimed that the man died when Zway youths tried to take over an armoured vehicle from an army unit.
