Bomb kills four soldiers in NWA
[Pak Daily Times] At least four soldiers were killed and five maimed when a military convoy struck a roadside kaboom in the tribal areas on Thursday, security officials said. The convoy was passing through Spinwam village some 45 kilometres east of Miranshah... headquarters of al-Qaeda in Pakistain and likely location of Ayman al-Zawahiri. The Haqqani network has established a ministatein centered on the town with courts, tax offices and lots of madrassas... , the main town of the North  Wazoo Agency. Officials blamed "myrmidons" -- a term they often use for Talibs -- for the attack. "Two more soldiers embraced Shahadat (martyrdom). The corpse count has now risen to four, the roadside IED was planted by myrmidons," a security bigshot told AFP, updating his earlier corpse count of two. Five soldiers were maimed in the blast from the improvised bomb (IED), the official said. A second security official said one military truck was badly damaged in the attack.
