Gunmen kill woman who worked for Turkish agency in Mogadishu
MOGADISHU -- Unidentified gunmen shot and killed a Somali woman who worked for one of the Turkish agencies operating in Mogadishu, Garowe Online reports. Local sources report that the victim Ms. Halimo Ahmed was killed by gunmen with pistols at Mogadishus largest Bakara market and the gunmen escaped.The killing comes a day after Mogadishus local government organized a pro-Turkish demonstration in Mogadishu, to promote Turkeys development programs in Mogadishu. Somali security agencies in Mogadishu have not addressed the media about todays killing. Al Shabaab militant group has been blamed for guerrilla attacks, bombings and targeted killings in Mogadishu.
