Children killed by wedding gunfire
Two 12-year-olds were killed and four other people injured when a Jordanian wedding guest fired celebratory shots from a machine gun in honour of the bride and groom, police said today. The well-wisher lost control of the weapon as he tried to fire it with one hand, sending bullets flying in all directions, police General Moslem Mahaddin told the official Petra news agency. The accident happened in the Ojan neighbourhood of the Amman satellite city of Zarqa yesterday.
