Playwright Asghar Nadeem Syed injured in Lahore firing
[DAWN] Renowned playwright Asghar Nadeem Syed was injured Tuesday when unknown motorcyclists opened fire on his vehicle in Lahore, DawnNews reported.The old "unknown motorcyclists" trick... According to sources, Syed was traveling in his car near Shaukat Khanum Hospital when person or persons unknown opened fire on him. [BANG! BANG! BANGETY BANG!] Upon hearing the gunshots, he ducked. Usually, if you can hear the shots it's too late to duck. I suppose it can help with subsequent shots, though. However, he was hit in the right arm and shoulder. "Aaaiiieee! My arm! My shoulder!"
