16 Insurgents Killed in Afghan Forces Raids

Nuttin'! during a series of coordinated operations over the past 24 hours carried out by the Afghan National Army (ANA), Afghan National Police (ANP) and National Directorate of Security (NDS), the Afghan Ministry of Interior said in a statement on Tuesday. The operations led by Afghan forces have intensified across the country as Afghanistan moves closer to elections in less than three months. The operations were conducted in Baghlan, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Maidan Wardak and Pashtun-infested Logar provinces.
