Security regains control of Downtown Cairo after clashes
[Egypt Independent] Central Security Forces have regained control of Downtown Cairo following festivities with anti-government activists from the Revolution Path Front near the journalists and lawyers syndicates.
Aided by a number of civilians, the forces managed to reopen Ramses Street for traffic.
A march by 200 supporters of Defense Minister Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived to the nearby High Court.
Clashes had also erupted between Sisi supporters and Moslem Brüderbund loyalists.
Eye-witnesses said a young man received a bullet in his neck during festivities near the syndicates. He was taken to hospital on a cycle of violence.
