Six Afghan Soldiers Killed in Kapisa Blast
Six Afghan soldiers were killed in a roadside kaboom blast in northeastern Kapisa province, officials said on Tuesday.The incident took place in the Alasay district of the province, when the soldiers were returning to their post after a firefight with a group of snuffies in the district late on Monday, said Gen. Dawlat Waziri, the Deputy Defence Ministry Spokesman. "Unfortunately, their vehicle hit a roadside kaboom which killed six soldiers," he said. He says that five snuffies including their leader were killed in the firefight. No group including the Taliban has grabbed credit for the bomb.
