Two bomb blasts rock Nowshera
[DAWN] NOWSHERA: Two bombs went off at different places here on Monday, but caused no causalities.Official sources said that the first bomb went kaboom!near the hujra of the brother of local peace committee member, Haji Nawab at Jalozai, damaging the gate and wall of the building. Similarly, police said another bomb went off on Azakhel-Chirat road when an official of Chirat cement factory was passing the area. The kaboom, however, caused no casualty or damage to property.Police and bomb disposal squad personnel rushed to the spots soon after the kabooms and cordoned off the areas to arrest the perpetrators. Officials said the bombs were remotely controlled. The bomb disposal squad officials said two kilogram of explosive was used in each bomb.
