Afghan woman MP shot in Kabul
[The Nation (Pak)] A woman member of Afghan parliament was shot and maimed in Kabul, officials said on Wednesday. Mariam Koofi was shot in one of Kabul's upscale districts late Tuesday after an argument with a member of the security forces, the interior ministry said in a statement. Her injury was not life threatening. A man was tossed in the clinkKeep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please! and an investigation was under way.
