Galmudug Minister survives assassination attempt in Galkacyo
According to Shabelleâs correspondent in Mudug, a man alleged to be a high-ranking official in Puntlandâs state authority raided a Minister of the Galmudug state administration.The Minister of Information for the Galmudug administration Hassan Abdikadir Hassan, reported to Shabelle after the attack on his life that the man that tried to kill him was a Puntland state official and raided him with an AK-47. âOne of my guards was injured as he tried to protect me, but the man whose name we do not know, immediately escaped.â The Galmudug stateâs Ministerial cabinet was only announced on the 28th April 2014.
