U.N. Blacklists Nigeria's Boko Haram, Imposes Sanctions
[An Nahar] The United Nations...the Oyster Bay money pit... blacklisted Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... as an al-Qaeda-linked terror group and imposed sanctions Thursday, a month after the it claimed the kidnapping of more than 200 schoolgirls in Nigeria. The designation, immediately welcomed by Britannia and the United States, came into effect after no objections were raised by the Security Council's 15 members.
