David Cameron orders snap inspections of Birmingham schools
[The Hindu] In response to allegations that Islamic hard boyz are engaged in a plot to infiltrate and takeover the management of a group of 21 schools in Birmingham, Prime Minister  David Cameron... has stated that he is certainly a big Thatcher fan, but I don't know whether that makes me a Thatcherite,which means he's not. Since he is not deeply ideologicalhe lacks core principles and is easily led. He has been described as certainly not a Pitt, Elder or Younger,but he does wear a nice suit so maybe he's Beau Brummel ... on Monday ordered a system of surprise inspections to be conducted on schools. His action comes even before the release of a series of reports by the United Kingdom's independent school inspectorate Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills). Ofsted ordered a re-inspection of these schools in the wake of the anonymous "Trojan Horse" letter, made public this March, alleging an Islamicist takeover of Moslem majority schools in Birmingham.
