Insanity defined
 [DAWN] HOLD a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on National Security: check. Call a corps commanders conference: check. Set up an inquiry committee to investigate the recent Taliban attack on Bloody Karachi...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... airport: check. With all the boxes ticked, the government can claim it has done all it could, and move on. For over two decades, successive governments have put this well-oiled procedure into action in the wake of every terrorist atrocity.
