Bakool Bodies Bundled
According to news reports from the Bakool region in southern Somalia, a fierce conflict erupted on the outskirts of Hudur, the provincial capital of the region.The battle was initiated when African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) and Somali National Army soldiers withdrew from Hudur and were attacked by Al-Shabaab terrorist insurgents as they were passing on the periphery of the district. Although the precise numbers of casualties and losses have not yet been specified, residents nearby the town reported to Shabelle that severe fatalities were caused; judging by the sounds of the exchange of gunfire, they said. Bakool is among the main regions where regular physical confrontations break out between the Somali National Army supported AMISOM force against the Al-Qaeda affiliated Al-Shabaab terrorist group operating in many areas of Somalia.
