Hamid Mir leaves for London
[DAWN] KARACHI: Senior journalist, analyst and anchorperson Hamid Mir has left for London, DawnNews reported on Friday.Mir, who was targeted by armed gunnies on April 19, 2014 in Bloody Karachi ...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... and received six bullets, is expected to consult doctors for medical treatment in London. Mir left for London along with his wife and daughter through flight PK613, where his son Yasir Aarafat has already been residing for educational purposes, DawnNews quoted sources as saying.
