A Civilian and Police Killed in Nangarhar Blast

The incident happened around 9 a.m. in Jalalabad, the capital of the province, after a bomb that was placed inside a cycle of violence went kaboom! in the area, said Abdul Raouf Uruzgani, a police official in Jalalabad.

"One civilian and a policeman were killed and a 10-year-old boy was injured in the blast," he said.

The victims have been taken to a nearby hospital and police have started investigations about the blast, he added.
