15 Taliban, 10 Afghan forces Killed in Clashes
[Tolo News] At least 15 Taliban forces of Evil and 10 Afghan cops were killed in separate incidents in the past 24 hours in eastern Laghman and western Herat...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... provinces, local officials said. Eight other forces of Evil and four security forces were maimed in the attacks. The Taliban forces of Evil attacked several Afghan police and soldier check posts in Alingar district of eastern Laghman province, killing seven security forces and injuring four others, read the governor's office in a statement. "Fifteen Taliban forces of Evil including three jacket wallahs and a Taliban leader, Zalmai, were also killed during the festivities," the statement read. This comes as, three police were killed by a Taliban Lion of Islam in Shindand district of Herat province on Saturday, local officials said.
