Interim Jubba militia standoff with Al-Shabaab in Kismayo
Interim Jubba Administration soldiers and Al-Shabaab terrorist insurgents have been reported to have engaged in a intense physical conflict in Kismayo, provincial capital of Lower Jubba.Local residents say Al-Shabaab initiated the fight after they attacked the soldiers that were conducting search sweeps in Kismayo’s 4 neighborhoods. News indicate that casualties and losses were incurred to both the Interim Jubba Administration forces and Al-Shabaab fighters.
