ASI killed, three policemen wounded
.jpg) [DAWN] KARACHI: An assistant sub-inspector was rubbed out while three coppers were maimed in an attack on a police van in Korangi on Tuesday night, the Awami Colony police said.They added that the police mobile as per its routine was standing at Korangi-5 when armed motorcyclists attacked it and escaped, leaving four coppers maimed. The maimed coppers were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where Assistant Sub-Inspector Mohammed Ibrahim was pronounced dead on arrival. Head Constable Idrees, Constables Akbar and Imran Ali were admitted for treatment.
