Peace body member gunned down
[DAWN] MINGORA: A member of the local peace committee was bumped off in Takhtaband area in the jurisdiction of Rahimabad cop shoppe in an apparent assassination incident on Tuesday night.Omar Hayat, member of the village defence committee, was rubbed out by unknown miscreants when he was offering Tarweeh at a mosque in Takhtaband area on the outskirts of Mongora city. The attackers managed to escape the area. Family members said the victim had no enmity with anyone, adding that he fell victim to the murder as he was an active member of the village defence committee against Talibs.
