Soldiers injured in southern Thailand bomb attack
Three Thai soldiers have been injured in a roadside bomb attack, in the southern province of Yala. The soldiers were waiting to escort teachers to schools, when the blast occured. It is the latest in a series of attacks targeting security officials in the Muslim-majority south. Teachers at government-run secular schools have also been targeted in the separatist related violence. Thousands of teachers have gone on strike in the south citing security concerns.
