Unknown Gunmen Kill Two Foreigners in Herat
[Tolo News] Two foreign females were killed in Herat...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... by unknown gunnies on Thursday according to Herat officials. The women were citizens of Finland who were working for the International Assistance Mission in Afghanistan specifically with mental health patients in Herat. The two women were in a taxi on their way to the bazaar when they were shot to death by unknown gunnies operating a cycle of violence. The victims were the ages 52 and 54. Official reports indicate that the taxi driver and the women's guide were tossed in the slammer Don't shoot, coppers! I'm comin' out!
