Libya: Abushagur freed
[Libya Herald] Mustafa Abushagur has been sprung. His family and friends confirmed the overnight release, which took place at around 3 am. He was unharmed and no ransom was paid.The former deputy prime minister and now House of Representative member for Suq Al-Juma himself tweeted early this morning that he had been let go. "Alhamdulillah I am home safe. I would like to thank all who helped in my release. May Allah protect Libya", he wrote in Arabic and English around dawn. He was seized outside his home yesterday.
