Shaboobs ambush Puntland forces in Galgala Mountain
Fierce fighting between al-Shabaab militants and Puntland security forces broke out in Galgala Mountain, near the port town of Bosaso, Shabelle reports. The bloody fighting flared up after Al-Shabaab fighters reportedly attacked Puntland security forces in Galgala, the casualties on both warring sides are unknown.“Al Shabaab militants attacked on our military base but our Puntland forces repelled the militants back” an unnamed told Shabelle because he was not authorized to speak on the Medias. The situation returned back to normal after the deadly fighting subsided.
