Tunisia fails to pass counter-terror law
[MAGHAREBIA] Passage of Tunisia's new law against terrorism and money laundering was suspended Thursday (August 21st) due to differences between the various political blocs in the Constituent Assembly.Police unions and both the ministers of justice and interior have demanded the legislation be sped up so that the country can more effectively deal with terrorism.
