Champ hints he'll delay amnesty action until after election.
[Daily Caller] President Champ hinted Thursday that he would delay his unpopular executive amnesty until after the critical November election.No reason for the delay provided. A bit of pressure from incumbents within the party and the polling of American voters may be implied. "Our immigration system is broken and need to be fixed, and my preference continues to be that Congress act," he said, echoing a familiar claim by advocates of greater immigration. That would be the Congress he's had virtually nothing to do with for six long years, and plans to have little or nothing to do with in the remaining two years of his failed term. But he next suggested that Congress might act after the November mid-term elections. "Hope springs eternal that after the midterm elections, they may act," he said. An oblique reference to the no longer used term [and false promise of] "Hope and Change." And then he suggested he would wait until after the elections before deciding the scope of his planned unilateral amnesty. "In the meantime [before the election], what I've asked [homeland security secretary] Jeh I'll take the hit after the midterms. Warren and the Beest can campaign on details and outcomes, it will still have been my idea. Champ's use of the phrase "in the meantime, After his "meantime" comment, Champ briefly discussed his amnesty plans, which reportedly include granting work-permits to 5 million illegal immigrants, and also allowing companies to import guest-workers for Hey amigo, first we must bait, then switch.
