Shaboobs storm Banadir Intelligence base
 MOGADISHU -- Al Shabaab gunmen broke their way into Mogadishu�™s Banadir Intelligence base in volatile Mogadishu following serious blows on the frontline on Sunday, Garowe Online reports. Militants in suicide vests and military fatigues engaged in an �"hour�™ long firefight with intelligence officers shortly after a car packed full of explosives went off at an entrance to Godka Jilicow base where terror suspects are held, officials said.Plumes of black smoke could be seen over the scene of the pre-planned attack, with sources disclosing that five bodies of the attackers are lying on the ground. Series of explosions followed the first gun-battle and car bomb attack inside the intelligence facility. A spokesman for Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab group said they carried out the apparently coordinated rampage.
