Extremists Attack High Security Prison In Somali Capitol
[Ynet] A Somali police officer says heavily armed suspected Islamic bully boyz have attacked a high security prison in the Somali capital.Capt. Mohammed Hussein said that gunnies on Sunday morning invaded the Godka Jilacow prison, which also serves as a key interrogation center for Somalia's intelligence agency. Mohammed Hassan, a resident who lives near the prison in the neighborhood of the presidential palace, said he heard gunfire and kabooms as soldiers and bully boyz fought for the control of the notorious jail. No group has immediately claimed the responsibility for the attack which shattered a period of calm in Mogadishu, which is stabilizing after nearly 20 years of chaotic violence.
