Obama: We dismantle ISIL like al-Qaeda
[Iran Press TV] President Barack ObamaI've now been in 57 states -- I think one left to go... says the United States will dismantle the ISIL terrorist group the same way the country defeated al-Qaeda following criticism over his foreign policy.
"We will not be placing US ground troops to try to control the areas that are part of the conflict in Syria," Obama said on Friday after a NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Originally it was a mutual defense pact directed against an expansionist Soviet Union. In later years it evolved into a mechanism for picking the American pocket while criticizing the cut of the American pants... summit in Wales. "We are going to have to find effective partners on the ground to push back against ISIL," he added. Obama also noted that his country would confront the group "the same way we have gone after al-Qaeda." "We are going to degrade and ultimately defeat ISIL," Obama said, adding that "you can't contain an organization" like ISIL. "The goal has to be to dismantle it," he said.
