Nidal Hasan requests ISIS citizenship
[Daniel Pipes] Aug. 29, 2014 update: Nidal Hasan released through his lawyer to Fox News Channel a handwritten, undated, two-page letter addressed to "Ameer, Mujahid Dr. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi," also known as Caliph Ibrahim, stating:I formally and humbly request to be made a citizen of the Islamic State. It would be an honor for any believer to be an obedient citizen soldier to a people and its leader who don't compromise the religion of All-Mighty Allah to get along with the disbelievers. Once a soldier of Allen, always a soldier of Allen. (The Islamic State is also known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, or ISIS.) Hasan signed off with his name and the old SoA abbreviation, meaning "Soldier of Allah." Too much 'work place violence' at the Disciplinary Barracks. He just wants to move on, put it all behind him.
